PROJECTS - Water Hygiene System Setups for the Control of Legionella

At Westland Helicopters – Yeovil – using Frontline Maintenance Management this team use the hand held devices for monitoring water and air systems around the site. This was a large system set up and required regular visits to continue the expansion of the system.

At North Bristol NHS Trust – using Frontline Maintenance Management this team use the hand held devices for monitoring of water systems around the hospital. After being asked by Shire Systems to help with consolidating their data from spreadsheets, Debbie later worked on site to add further plans to their system and help the users to become familiar with the system.

This Client's objective was to reduce the amount of paperwork in collecting data for water and air monitoring contracts. The robust Meazura hand held devices were selected by the Client for their toughness.

There are two campuses at Sparsholt, with a total of over 100 buildings between them, so acting on recommendation in the Legionella Risk Assessments was a big task. Debbie sorted through the information in the assessments and generated the recommended planned maintenance routines for temperature checks and inspections onto the Frontline Maintenance Management System. Also, all recommended corrective works was logged and prioritised. This is currently being rolled out in a controlled manner, ensuring higher risk items are addressed whilst considering the control of budgets.
