During her years in a maintenance management role, Debbie was often required to take on more work than she could deliver to the high standards she set herself. No-one really minds putting in the extra hours on occasions, but when that becomes the norm then it's time to admit something has to give. She would often look for help but was disappointed no one was available to just step in and look after some of it for her whilst she concentrated on the rest of her job.

As a professional manager (now Chartered) she wanted to keep a close eye on what was going on. She was loath to commit to a lengthy contract with an expensive external maintenance company and she was not really convinced a pricey consultant was the right solution. She just needed someone to organise her maintenance and projects on her behalf, not someone to tell her how to do it better.

So that’s the route of the idea behind this business. Debbie Carless is someone you can call to help. Think of her as a Maintenance Nurse.  Hence the company name, Aporos, meaning remedy or cure. See the services section for the sort of projects she can help you with.
